If one of you says to them, Go in peace; keep warm and well fed, but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?
James 2:16We have been assisting families facing not only a sick (or terminally ill) child, but also facing numerous challenges, such as food insecurity, unexpected job loss, and the fear of eviction.
Many of these families are enduring tough times, trying to navigate through many hardships.
Reflecting on my own childhood experiences, I know firsthand what it feels like to go through unexpected difficulties when an illness struck our family.
These memories have fueled my passion for supporting those who are currently enduring similar struggles.
I chose the painting "Freedom from Want," by Norman Rockwell, for our grocery card fundraiser because it portrays a scene of "family togetherness, peace, and plenty," showcasing the essence of what we aim to provide for the families we support.
My experience was far from the idyllic setting depicted in Rockwell's painting.However, it is precisely because of those hardships that I understand and empathize with the individuals and families we are assisting.Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those facing these many hardships, giving them the opportunity to experience a sense of security and peace.Let us continue to extend a helping hand to those who need it the most.

Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.
L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!
From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!

Being Blessed with the 151/2 foot Sacramental Rosary your 83 yr.old father crafted, reaffirmed for us that our home and property will be a Refuge for the Faithful Remnant! We plan to hang it on the house wall that lines the front deck! My twin sister (Patricia Ijames) and I are also 83 yrs. old. We truly feel a part of the Cukierski Family!

Dear Wendy, The rosary arrived today. When I opened the package and saw it….it took my breath away. Thank you so much. I am overwhelmed. You and your family have blessed me so much over the last few years. On Dec 30th I returned to the Catholic Church. It was not a difficult decision. I am homebound so I attend mass on line and the priest hears my confession, anoints me and brings the Eucharist. At 82 I am in pretty good shape mentally. The rest of me is going down hill slowly but surely. But my best gift is being able to spend my days in prayer and reading. God has given me time to prepare for my passing. Memento Mori. I think Wendy and family do tremendous work helping to feed and look after families in need. I know there are lots of large charities helping others but this is a special family with a huge heart. They need support to keep the grocery cards going and lots of prayer too.

I hope it helped somebody in need. I really don't know how it went, since I wasn"t there when it was delivered. I donated $100 of food to help those affected by the Helene Hurricane. Dear Wendy, Having been a devoted customer of yours for many years, I have never understood how anyone could possibly say anything nasty about you. You are an amazing woman whom I personally have looked up to for years! So many times, your words have truly consoled me and helped me spiritually. Not to mention the products that I have ordered from you, that have helped me physically. Even knowing that all these attacks are diabolical, it still does not take the hurt away. Assisting families of hospitalized children is deeply meaningful for me. I have been working full time as a pediatric nurse since January 1995, in the PICU since 2003 and now the PCICU since we split off from the PICU last year. Please join me in this endeavor through the Cukierski family!

I recently donated money to the Pediatric Missions which I feel is a very good cause. However, I thought I was getting a Miraculous Medal blanket of the Blessed Mother as depicted on the website and was disappointed to receive a Sacred Heart blanket instead. I was hoping to donate money to a good cause while at the same time, I would receive an item I could use for a gift for someone who has made my life less stressful. Twice I sent emails regarding this issue as I wanted to return the Sacred Heart blanket and exchange it for the Blessed Mother blanket, however, I have yet to receive a reply. This purchase was important to me and I feel a bit let down. The Sacred Heart of Jesus blanket is beautiful but for the occasion & person I was gifting the blanket to, the Blessed Mother blanket would be more appropriate. I would appreciate some response to remedy this issue.

We gave money to feed those without. We ourselves are trying to reorganize our lives as my husband was laid off in November. I thank God everyday for all of our joys and sufferings and struggles. We so appreciate the month of masses that the family has included us in and consider it an honor to give when we can or even when we’re not sure that we can. Prayers for our first grandchild any day now and two weddings on the horizon. Also future daughter in law coming into the church. So much to be thankful for. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I was in the same spot years ago when my husband had his first liver transplant. I was raising my 4 little ones and was so grateful when someone showed up at my door with dinner. This was such a relief to not have to pay for this.

The $100 surprise box was absolutely amazing! Arrived before Christmas which meant I could share many as gifts! The beautiful blanket of our Virgin Mary, the lovely medals, statue of our dear St. Michael the Archangel and my favorite, the statue of Mother Mary with the precious babe in her womb. I always think to myself, what if I were that mom? At the end of a long day, maybe working so she can carry insurance, visiting a sick child, with other children, what is there to eat?? Money gets eaten up by bills

In the book of Matthew 25:35 it says, “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink….” This is why I donated money for gift cards. One never knows what can happen in the future, and our precious Jesus cannot be out done in magnanimity. Give to those in need!
