Dear family,
Change happens....we either embrace it with grace or we fight it. I know from experience that fighting it is futile.
Children grow older...parents pass away...friendships shift and change...change is inevitable.
Our economy and world are changing, as well (and rapidly!)
When we find ourselves going through any kind of change in our lives... our natural response may be to resist it. You can't.
Change occurs in almost every aspect of our lives, we must learn to deal with it.
How? By changing our perspective and praying for the grace to accept what we can't change.
It's normal to feel a bit of anxiety and even sadness for what was...but is no longer.
We can't ignore the fact that things have changed...but..we can bring our memories with us as we move into the change, the best that we can.
