Don't compare yourself!

There is a gap between the life Jesus wants me to live and the life I'm living.

I keep hearing Him call me to Daily Mass, yet I say "Lord, I'm too tired! It's too early!"....I hear Him reply, "If you want to do My will for your life, you're going to need to get up and attend Mass daily."

Yes, I already consider myself a pretty good Catholic... but...compared to whom? The derelicts on tv? The neighbor who cheated on his wife? The person we know who is fighting a porn addiction?

Sure, we can all make ourselves feel like saints by comparison. Jesus, doesn't want us comparing ourselves...that's dangerous for spiritual growth.

Honestly, I'm a sinner just like everyone else...but I am striving to overcome a few things...so yeah, I NEED Daily Mass!
